AION 2 Genus Insight explained
Use this page for the four combat Genus Pet Insight Owned Effect ladders (Lv.1–3 — same for every pet in that Genus), the separate Genus Analysis track (up to Lv.10, serverwide), and verified soul progress: 5 unlock / +25 next stage.
Pet Insight vs Genus Analysis
Pet Insight is per pet (Lv.1–3). Raising it grants Owned Effects that depend only on Genus — not on the pet name — and gates mobility: ride at Lv.1, glide at Lv.2, transform at Lv.3 (with Empathy Candy — see Pet Transform).
Genus Insight / Analysis is a separate system: each Genus levels toward Lv.10, fed by soul crystals when you collect pet souls. Analysis rolls passive slots; locking slots raises later Analysis costs, so early lock-ins are expensive. Each Analysis still grants Genus XP, so rerolls are not wasted. Progress is serverwide (shared across characters on the same server).

Analysis & leveling tips
Pick a Genus lane first (speed, stamina, HP, or sprint/evasion), then farm an early pet in that Genus. Papis / Fossa / Kailin cover early Fera; Konutin Worker / Fungie cover early Natura; Klaw covers early Cogni. Silver Blade Rotan is the Abyss Varian farm; Black Smoke Murute is chest-only Natura (no monster drop).
